The Rabbits section welcomes all Horsforth Golf Club members with handicaps from 16 to 28. There is no joining fee. We have an extensive programme of golf and social events throughout the year. The Rabbits aim to support Horsforth Golf Club by making donations from the Rabbits funds to help various projects for the benefit of all club members. The work of our Committee is to raise funds that support the well-being of members, donate money to the Council to pay for their identified projects as well supporting all our many internal and external golfing competitions. Players pay for their own hospitality and donate much time and effort to support each social event

Rabbits Friendly Matches
Friendly matches take place, home and away, against seven other clubs in the district through the summer. This offers the opportunity to play on some other great golf courses around the area, meet fellow Rabbit golfers, and enjoy a meal afterwards, all for around £11/£12.
The clubs we will be playing in 2016 are listed below, dates are listed in the Rabbits Handbook.
May I wish both old and new members, the best of luck in your matches. Remember, be competitive and enjoy the experience.
Best of luck

Leeds & District and Yorkshire Rabbits competitions
These are more competitive than the friendly matches and include individual match play knock outs, league matches and several one day competitions against Rabbit teams from clubs from all over Yorkshire. Again, if you wish to play in any of these matches, you can put your name forward at the Rabbits AGM or look for the list on the Rabbits notice board.
There are Saturday competitions for Rabbits only. These usually run alongside club competitions. We also play for the Watson Cup, a match play knock out competition for the top sixteen Rabbit golfers in the qualifying April Medal
