About Horsforth Golf Club
The course is a mixture of parkland and moorland with the initial design improved by Dr Alistair Mackenzie in 1913. The tight, tree lined fairways require accuracy off the tee. The original heathland, which the course was built on, is slowly changing due to tree planting over the last thirty years. It was once catchment land for Horsforth Water Authority, two of the abandoned reservoirs forming part of the course boundary.
Men’s Golf offers a range of competitions each month.
The Rabbits Section (golfers with a handicap over 16 to 28 and over 18 years old ) welcomes new members.
The Ladies Section has been established for many years here at Horsforth.
Our Juniors have their own competitions and coaching sessions.
For those wishing to improve their game the club has two resident professionals who offer coaching to enable you to get more out of your game.
Besides offering outstanding golf in a friendly atmosphere, there is a thriving social side with events to suit all tastes.

- Engagement Parties
